You Belong in the Zoo
A groundskeeper at the Rio Grande Zoo in Albuquerque, N.M., saw a visitor covered in blood, but when he checked on him the man ran. The visitor, who had an annual pass, was well known to zookeepers as he visits daily, “talking to [a caged jaguar], sitting in front of his exhibit” for the past two years. After the man ran off, they found a finger outside the jaguar’s cage and called the man at home. “Are you missing any fingers?” they asked. “You have the wrong guy,” he allegedly responded. Police lifted the severed digit’s print and matched it to the unidentified man, who has been banned from the zoo for life. (AP) ...Either way, why don’t they give him the finger?
