When Tristan Ellis, 18, appeared before Northern Territory (Australia) Supreme Court Justice Dean Mildren to face breaking-and-entering charges, Mildren saw that he had been arrested before — on 28 counts — but had been released on bail. While he was out, he racked up 17 more counts. Judge Mildren demanded to know who “the idiot” was that granted such a “lowlife crim” bail. A check of court records found the idiot was none other than Judge Mildren. (Brisbane Courier-Mail) ...Well, if Ellis can get a second chance, maybe Mildren can too.
